hototogisu: thank you. you do great job yourself. and right now my muse is reluctant to produce...
zingtrial: thank you. glad you liked it. take care.
charlie: that's what i was trying to convey. when i saw that vine (the shot doesn't do it justice) i knew i'd have to write about it, but i allowed myself some poetic freedom with the fragment (the news part). i think it's open-ended enough for everyone to create their own story...
margie: many thanks.
kai: thank you. take care!
pat: better than being a trunk others cling to (or maybe not) thank you!
tim: thank you. glad it worked for you.
andrew: i know the feeling. we, too, had a spell of nice warm weather (in the low 20's C; that would be i think low 70's F) until yesterday when it cooled significantly. but the nature does what it's supposed to do: trees have started to change colour, berries and acorns and chestnuts ripen, birds migrate... fall has arrived.
thank you, aurora, i'm glad this one worked for you.
friendship has become a recurring theme for me recently... it is a two way relationship, and in order to have friends one has to be a friend, in order to receive one has to give... you seem to be able to handle these things just right.

love the image of the injured vine clinging to the tree for support, polona. if only i could write consistently good haiku as you do ... :-)
This is a nice shot and liked reading through your blog once again. Thanks for sharing.
Wish you well
Beautiful Polona
brilliant......
hugs
To have such a trunk to cling to. Excellent!!
It must really be looking like autumn there --- it still looks like the middle of summer here. Hard to write about autumn when it's in the 90's. :)
beautiful and full of insight
thank you
Poignant!
