wandering in the mountains and meeting someone known to you is either a coincidence or a delibered act but the conversation remain the same with the waterfall disguising the suspicion - but on the other hand it might not be in the mountain at all this meeting - too much said already - well done Polona

"by the sound of waterfall" is such a stunning line. Well done, Polona!

...and, of course, the continual fall of water symbolizes the relentless march of time.

Polona, there so many meanings, paths, layers, etc., one can take with this. And, all tightly placed in 5 lines. You have truly outdone your self with this one!!

sometimes it's better to be listening to waterfall's harmonies alone... thank you, floots!

thank you, ashi, that meeting was a pure coincidence. we were watching each other for a long time, and only when she addressed me did i realise where i knew her from... we played basketball together (as well as against each other), and there was much to say about the old times...

ah, aurora, you always find such kind words! thank you as always!

well perceived, masago - thank you.

i was hoping it was open-ended enough for everyone to find something in it, and you definitely did. many thanks, pat!

thank you, jon!
what you do is amazing!
(nice photo)

do i sense some melancholy in your latest postings, charlie?
people come and go, some just for a while, others for good. losing a friend is always sad, but this tanka is not all about loss...

i'm pleased you love it, margie! thank you!

thank you, steve!

thank you, amalendu!
