margie and aurora: matt was right, the stranger was a he. about my age, not particularly handsome, but he did have a certain appeal. i was just descending from the bus at my stop as our eyes met and i found ourselves smiling at each other. it only lasted a moment, but it was a memorable one.
and in case you were interested: that's what today's sunset looked like. may post another pic on my photo blog later.

I love this image...the entire haiga. Something about crusing along at twilight and the handsome stranger....
So much warmth in this one!: I hear somebody was offering hugs recently in one of our town squares to passers by, a worldwide movement or something!?:)

Well, who wouldn't? The smiles of strangers have kept me going on many a dark day. Your fine haiga have a similar effect.
