i'd love to get a macro shot of a damsel or dragonfly but they only appear when the camera is at home or in its case

floots - you're too kind. i'm quite sure you'll get the shot some time. i'm having the same "problems" with gulls... they seldom appear this far into the continent (though ljubljana is no more than 100 km from the sea) and when they come (or i go to the sea) my camera is never ready...
