bending towards
the summer grass to see
a ladybug
feeling strange looks
from people passing by

I can see the whole scene...wish I was there to add my strange looks, er...have a look at the bug myself. :-)

juans - thank you for coming by.

et tu, brutus, er... pat?

kai - thanks :)

vaughn - well, there was something to see... imagine my 1.81m (roughly 5ft11 for those not familiar with the metric system) crouching over that plant trying to find the best position for the shot... and the bug wouldn't stand still either :)

floots - good advice.
thank you :)

charlie - welcome to my blog.
nothing to worry about, though :)

in slovenia we say, "pikapolonica, zleti v nebo in mi prinesi zlato kolo,"
and since most of you probably have no idea what this means, the translation would be:

"ladybird, fly into the sky
and bring me a golden bicycle"

When you're out with your camera, strange looks mean nothing! Lovely image, great poem!

vaughn, i don't use anything fancy. i only have a compact digital canon powershot a620 and i usually use the auto mode. i think i used 4x digital zoom for this one.

Now that you mention it, could be fun watching you using your camera and fantasy to get all these fantastic pictures?:)
