seriously, in the park where i took this photo (and some others), the animals (birds and squirrels in particular) are quite used to people. they're being fed, especially through the winter, and i think they expect food when they see someone approach. so if you keep still long enough, they actually come to you.
the photo is a few weeks old, though... i haven't had the time for running around (or standing still for that matter) with my camera lately.
