lovely polona. you've inspired me to write a haiku about similar conditions in my own part of the world (12.9.06 entry on "cuckoo droppings"). ;-)

Oddly, yesterday after reading this haiku, I was in an Italian deli and spotted a package of black-coloured pasta. I was shocked to discoved that squid ink was one of the ingredents. I wonder if this is for the colour or if there is also a taste component to this.

thanks everyone.
i'm having a reasonably good time. idling around is not exactly my ideal way of spending a vacation but i find ways to entertain myself.

as to the flavour of squid ink - i've eaten black risotto (squid ink being one of the main ingredients) and there is a distinct taste which i quite like :)
