pat, i was truly pleased to see some life emerge after too long the winter, but used "almost" for the above mentioned reason.
nick, i must smile at your aversion to all those pesky ctitters, but think of them as a vitak part of the ecosystem and an indispensable link in the food chain. if anything is a pest around here, it is us, the humans.
