Is the hay better as a grass swaying in the wind, or fodder for 4 legged creatures? Or that's my take on it.

kai - writing haiku and occasional tanka is what i do... i think i have only written one poem longer than that in my life :)
i don't have a favourite haiku poet, i like reading and i'm learning from the japanese masters as well as many contemporary haijin...
pat - interesting dilemma... haven't thought of it that way. i guess it depends...
